Day 7: Donuts!!!!!

Yeaaaah, we gonna postpone Friday Night Hawxby till next Friday, dont got much to talk about today. Woke up, missed Fajr again!!! Jeez Hasheem, stop going to bed soooo late that you sleep right thru ur alarm. Made some Rice Cereal for brek brek. Watched some USA Track and Field. Its crazy how people my age are moving on in the world and doing really big things. I know so many people leaving college and signing to go pro in Track, which I wouldn't recommend until you get that College degree, but thats just me.

Decided to make homemade Donuts today. It was such a long process. Never made dough before, had to wait for it to rise and all that crap, then it was too sticky, ugh.
But in the end they came out really good. Put cinnamon-sugar coating on em.

Its crazy to imagine how long it used to take to make every meal during the day. Mixing together all the ingredients by hand and stuff. Gender roles,... just roles in general were so much more necessary back in the day. Kids had a purpose for work, wife made food <-- much bigger job, Dad did some kinda manual labor or su'a that he was best suited for in the family unit. Everyone had their place, it wasn't just outta choice. But now, nobody really HAS to fill any role. Its all choice. Everything is automated and ready-made. So, it just depends upon ur brain now. So, I can understand Modern Women and all their crap. Lol. I think the biggest thing holding them back from being bout that Modern life is the thought that they wanna be corporate and ballin out AND want a man that is on that level too. And the problem comes where the Corporate man wants a house-wife kinda gal. So, the punnet-square is missing a piece. Nobody wants the House-husband who reads novels and primps the house. So the Modern women have to start to view that as attractive for it to work, otherwise they will be very frustrated.

Annnnnnnnyway, dunno how I got there. But i was thinking about someone i know. And they are a very business woman type who is all bout that life. And they have a guy who is really not doing much with his life right now. People rag on that situation soooo much. But think about if that was reversed. Maybe a comment here or there about it, but they wouldnt really think it odd that the woman isnt out in the world grinding in da streeeeetz. So, in some weird sort of way, i applaud that and it shows maybe one day, men and women can equally fight for the right to be a great home-maker and dream of marrying rich!! (tears in eyes)

Ok, im JK, but hey, you want equality (and if by equality you mean everything the same), gotta have it on all sides.

Endnote- If you give a man a steak and a baby a steak that is the same, but its not equal.

Endnote 2- Ok, Im sorry, im really going in right now, I just think about this kinda stuff ALOT! Salaams
